Our Asian Plateau Blend is best described as a rich medium roast with herbal flavor notes, a strong aroma, and a heavy body.

The cup opens with an aromatic herbal character that gives the coffee its distinctive Southeast Asian profile. The flavor remains steady as the coffee develops, supported by a substantial body that creates a deeper presence on the palate.

A smooth finish follows the heavier center of the cup, carrying a mild herbal aftertaste. The medium roast keeps the coffee balanced while preserving its strong aroma and characteristic herbal flavor.

This blend is designed to provide consistent flavor from cup to cup and is best enjoyed as a hot coffee drink. Customer tasting reports are not available yet.

Why It Stands Out:

This is not a flavored coffee. The herbal characteristics come from the coffee itself rather than added flavoring.

Asian Plateau Blend combines coffees from Southeast Asian growing regions that can include the Bolaven Plateau in Laos, Timor, India, Papua New Guinea, Sulawesi, and Sumatra. The exact composition can vary while maintaining the blend’s intended herbal flavor, strong aroma, and heavy body.

The coffee is grown under full sun and processed using a washed method. Washed processing removes the fruit surrounding the coffee seeds before drying, supporting a cleaner expression of the blend’s established flavor profile.

The medium roast develops the blend without covering its herbal character. It provides enough roast depth to complement the heavy body while allowing the strong aroma to remain prominent.

Your coffee is roasted after you order, then packed and shipped within days. It does not sit in a warehouse waiting for someone to buy it. This helps preserve the aroma and herbal character that distinguish this blend.

Best Brewing Methods:

  1. Auto Drip produces the most balanced expression of the blend. It supports the heavy body, preserves the strong aroma, and keeps the herbal flavor consistent throughout the cup.

  2. French Press creates a fuller interpretation with greater emphasis on body and herbal depth. Choose Whole Bean and grind it coarsely at home for this brewing method.

  3. Espresso concentrates the strong aroma, herbal character, and heavy body into a smaller and more intense serving.

  4. Pour Over gives the herbal notes greater clarity while producing a somewhat lighter interpretation of the blend’s naturally heavy body.

  5. Cold Brew creates a smooth and concentrated alternative, but it reduces some of the aromatic character that makes this coffee particularly well suited to hot brewing.

Because Asian Plateau Blend is known for consistent flavor, a strong aroma, and a heavy body and is specifically recommended as a hot coffee drink, Auto Drip is our winning brewing method. It delivers a dependable extraction that keeps the herbal notes, aroma, and body working together in one balanced cup.

Recommended Auto Drip Recipe:

Use approximately 2 level tablespoons of Standard ground coffee for every 6 fluid ounces of brewed coffee.

Fill the coffee maker with fresh, filtered water.

Place a paper filter in the brew basket and add the ground coffee.

Start the brewing cycle and allow it to finish completely before serving.

Stir the brewed coffee gently before pouring to distribute the extracted flavors evenly.

Serve hot to experience the blend’s strong aroma, herbal flavor, and heavy body.

If the coffee tastes too light, use slightly more coffee. If it tastes too strong or heavy, use slightly less coffee while keeping the water amount unchanged.

Choose Your Grind:

Level 1. Espresso: Very fine. Concentrates the herbal flavor, strong aroma, and heavy body. Built for espresso machines.

Level 2. Standard: Medium grind. Produces a consistent and balanced hot cup. Best for automatic drip coffee makers and Keurig compatible reusable pods.

Level 4. Whole Bean: Full beans. Best for maximum freshness and complete control over the grind used for any brewing method, including French press.
